Students and money
NEW! European Investment Fund Guarantee for Students (only in English)
In cooperation with the European Investment Fund and under the auspices of the European Commission, the University of Luxembourg has put in place a special scheme to support students for specific programs; this scheme includes the following:
Faculty of Science, Technology and Communication (FSTC)
Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance (FDEF)
- Master in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
- Master in Wealth Management
- Master in Entrepreneurship and Innovation
- Master of Science in Banking and Finance
Within this supporting scheme, the University proposes you to defer payment of some aspects of tuition fees or student housing during your master studies.
This scheme is reserved to incoming master students to the University of Luxembourg, having obtained a bachelor in a foreign university.
According to the official scheme supported by the European Commission, the maximum deferment of payment is 18.000 EUR for a two-year master, and 12.000 EUR for a 1-year master. It must be understood that such a scheme is not a cash advance, but is aimed at allowing you to repay your debts at the University when you graduate. A specific contract is thus signed between you and the University.
Further information will be soon provided to allow you to apply to this specific student support. In any case, the financial scheme will not be active before September 2017.
