Welcome to the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance

The comprehensive teaching programme is described in detail for each department and encompasses two Bachelor degrees in Law and Economics, one vocational Bachelor degree in Management as well as the following five Masters degrees:

• European Law ,
• Banking and Finance (LSF) ,
• Financial Economics ,
• IT System Security Management
• and in Entrepreneurship and Innovation .

The faculty also offers foundation courses for accountants and company auditors.

Research activities are structured in the following units:

• Law (including the Centre for European Law and the Centre for Economic Law) ,
• the Applied Economics Research Unit
• and the Centre for Financial Research part of the LSF.

Alongside project research and ‘blue sky’ driven research, these units also host teams of PhD students.

In organisational terms, the structure of the faculty comprises the Dean’s Office, the Council and the Committee of Directors of Studies. The administration is based on the division of responsibilities described in the section entitled “ Contact and access ”.
