Master in Psychology: Psychological Intervention (académique)

The track Psychological Intervention provides students with the opportunity to develop knowledge and competencies in the field of psychological interventions. The programme includes both advanced theoretical, methodological, and applied aspects of psychological intervention research as well as practical on-the-job training.
This programme takes a multi-reference approach to various fields of psychological intervention (clinical psychology, health psychology, applied social psychology, developmental psychology). The courses are carried out in close collaboration with nationally and internationally renowned scholars.
Students will be thoroughly prepared for a career in psychological intervention and research. Career opportunities are multifarious, especially in the field of clinical psychology, educational psychology, and other fields of intervention as well as in research.
Moreover, the best students can apply for a PhD-programme and enrol in a Doctoral School in the Faculty or they may enrol in the Master in Psychotherapy.
The degree in "Master in Psychology: Psychological Intervention" complies with current prerequisites for admission to psychotherapy training in Germany.
