Valorisation of research results

According to the national law, all researchers who decide to valorise an innovative result, coming from their scientific work, must declare it to their employer.

 The Legal Affairs of the University of Luxembourg (UL) coordinates the valorisation process of the research results by giving an administrative and legal support to the researchers of the University.

 The valorisation process allows the University of Luxembourg to protect, add value and transform the theoretical research results into products, processes, services or innovative and economically viable forms of technology duly protected by intellectual property rights.
