Welcome Days 2010 and much more

The University of Luxembourg has again planned a whole progamme for the beginning of the winter semester 2010/2011. Discover now the most important dates.

The new students coming to study in Luxembourg as part of their mobility semester, will be received at the Welcome Days which will begin with the "Incoming Day" on 17 Sept. . Most of these students have never been to Luxembourg and will now be spending a semester here within the context of the exchange programme "Erasmus" or agreements between the University of Luxembourg and its partner institutions abroad. The programme on Incoming days: guided tours of the University campus and the Luxembourg city as well as meetings with the local students ‘organisations.

Citizens who, on 17 October , want to host one (or more) of those newly arrived can invite a student, a PHD student, a researcher or even a teacher to their table and show them around the city or the country . Anyone can participate in this Invitation day “Wine and dine with...?“

• 17 September : "Incoming Day" for international students
• 2 October: Information day Grand-Rue- Théâtre des Capucins / Luxembourg-City // 10h00 - 18h00
• 9 October: Outdoor Activity Day // 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• 17 October : Invitation Day "Wine and dine with...?“
• 27 October : Dies Academicus: official opening of the academic year // 5.30 p.m
