How to Balance Passion and Professionalism
Ulrich Hoerning, who has a Master in Public Administration from Harvard, and is the Head of the Administrative Reform Unit at Mannheim (Germany), is a Change Manager. Change management is an intentional, structured approach to helping employees accept and embrace changes in their business environment, e.g. in the company structure, by for example organising workshops.
Hoerning focuses on organisational development and change management in modern societies: He is the head of one of the biggest German Alumni Associations and the former president of an international student-run group for professional development. He has worked for private and public organisations, including The World Bank in Europe, South America and at the crossroads of Eastern Europe and Western Asia.
