Skerdilajda Zanaj is an Associate Professor at the University of Luxembourg since May 2011. She graduated in Economics Science at the University of Lecce, Italy. And then completed a PhD in Economics (2008) at CORE, University Catholique de Louvain in cotutelle with the Università degli Studi di Siena, under the supervision of Prof. Jean Gabszewicz and Prof. Claude d’Aspremont. During her stay at CORE, she has been a Marie Curie Fellow supported by the European Commission.
Skerdilajda Zanaj is interested in topics linking the fields of public economics , industrial organization and international economics . Her contributions cover the areas of : tax competition, banking competition, tax evasion, vertical integration, and horizontal mergers, migration and adoption of enviromental-friendly technologies.
She teaches Microeconomics, Advanced Microeconomics and Mathematics.
