Carola Rappe

Born 1978 in Germany, Carola has joined the chair of Prof. Jörg Gerkrath at the Center of European Law of the University of Luxemburg in February 2009. She deals essentially with the research project “LUXEUROPE” analyzing the relations between the Luxemburgish and the European Law as well as the European integration process, with main focus on Constitutional Law.

After having studied for a year in Paris, she finished her studies in law in Germany with both State Exams in Law. Besides, she holds a “Master of European Law” of the Institute of Europe of Saarland‑University. From 2003 to 2005 she absolved several legal internships, inter alia at the German Embassy in Serbia and in the State Ministry of Saxony for Economic Affaires, Bureau of state subsidies Law. From 2006 to 2008 she worked at the Court of Justice of the European Communities in Luxemburg; first in the Press and Information Division, then as a Lawyer linguist in the Translation division.
