Claude Haas is a researcher in social and educational sciences. For 10 years he has been working at the Institut d’études éducatives et sociales, where he was in charge of different projects concerning the training and employment of people with disabilities or the implementation of new technologies in educational environments. He is preparing a PhD which focuses on the experimentation and implementation of evaluation designs in the context of the newly introduced bachelor studies, with a special focus on empowerment processes. Currently, he participates in a European Social Fund project focussing on empowerment and employability of offenders. He is also the director of the professional bachelor in social and educational sciences at the University of Luxemburg.
