Oliver Schnoor is a scientific collaborator in the research axis “Early Childhood: Education and Care”, research unit INSIDE. Currently, he is carrying out an ethnographic project examining the pedagogy of the luxemburgish “Maisons relais pour enfants” (MRE), supervised by Prof. Dr. M.-S. Honig and Dr. S. Neumann. His research is based on the conduction of ethnographic fieldwork in a day care center for 0 to 4-year-old children.
After having finished a Master of Arts (Magister) in educational science, sociology and musicology at Humboldt-University Berlin, Oliver Schnoor also completed a graduate school programme in qualitative research methods at the Universities of Halle and Magdeburg. There, he started his ongoing dissertation project, a multimethod study on identity processes of graffiti artists. Before his employment in Luxemburg he worked at the University of Karlsruhe where he developed a qualitative design for the investigation of learning processes in youth scenes.
