Sascha Neumann (Dr. phil, Dipl.-Päd.) is a Post Doc Researcher in Educational Sciences. He is working within the research axis
Early Childhood: Education and Care
of the research unit INSIDE (Integrative Research Unit on Social and Individual Development) at the University of Luxembourg, Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Educational Science. His research activities range from theory and history of Social Work, Quality and Evaluation in Education to theory of childhood and childhood studies.
After his studies in Educational Science, Psychology and Philosophy Sascha Neumann prepared his doctoral thesis at the University of Trier while he was supported by a full scholarship of the Protestant Study Foundation (Evangelisches Studienwerk e.V. Villigst). He received his doctoral degree in 2007. Before he joined the University of Luxembourg he worked as a referent for quality development at the Saarland University and as a Research Associate at the University of Education Ludwigsburg.
