• ESPON project Metroborder - Cross-border polycentric metropolitan regions (2009-2010)
• Conducted a Delphi survey (iterative questionnaires) dedicated to the cross-border governance in the Greater Region (SaarLorLux+ area)
• Co-directed the scientific supervision of the project
• Responsible for the administrative follow-up of the project

Collaborated in updating the legal and financial framework of the ESPON programme for the period
