Anne Rohstock joined the LCMI Research Unit at the University of Luxembourg as a scientific collaborator in March 2010. She received her master degree in Educational Science from the University of Munich in 2004 and her PhD in History from the University of Regensburg in 2009. For four years she was assistant to the deputy director of the Institute of Contemporary History in Munich and worked as an online-editor at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. In July 2009 she joined the research group “After the boom” at Tuebingen University where she was promoted by a full-time fellowship of the German Research Foundation.

At the University of Luxembourg Anne Rohstock is elaborating a research project on school history, institutional change and cultural heritage in Luxembourg. She worked on the history of educational systems in Germany in the 20th century and wrote a dissertation on the politics of higher education in the “long sixties”. Besides she is interested in the history of social movements and youth cultures, the history of consumption and the history of ideas.
