After earning her bachelor's degree at Brown University (USA), Carrie Kovacs began studying and working at the University of Vienna (Austria), where she completed a diploma thesis evaluating the predictive validity and other psychometric properties of the psychology department's recently created admissions exam. She taught courses on cognitive development and statistics & research methods while working on a faculty project to provide technical and methodological help to psychology lecturers implementing multiple-choice tests in their courses. She has joined LCMI as a doctoral assistant to Prof. Krolak-Schwerdt, where she will be researching the social-cognitive determinants of educational achievement judgments.
