Julia Strohmer joined LCMI as a scientific collaborator in July 2011. She graduated in Educational Science at the University of Vienna in 2008 and received her PhD in Educational Science from the University of Vienna in March 2011. From 2007 to 2009 she worked at the Department of Education as tutor. She is interested in methodology, quality in academic research and writing, psychoanalysis in the field of education and teacher training. At LCMI Julia Strohmer is working on the research project: “Clinical analysis of secondary school student teachers' personal relation to knowledge in connection with their construction of a professional identity” which focuses on the teachers relation to knowledge, the decision to teach and the teaching practice (responsible: Jean-Marie Weber).
