Nadine Geisler studied contemporary history in Luxembourg, Belgium and France. In 2004, she finished her studies with the Maîtrise en histoire and her thesis about the Kreisleiter in Luxembourg during World War II. Between 2004 and 2010, she worked on different projects dealing with the history of Luxembourg. In 2009, she continued her studies at the University of Luxembourg. She holds a Master degree in European contemporary history completed at the University of Luxembourg in 2010 with her thesis about the women’s liberation movement in Luxembourg. Since March 2011 she is working as a PhD student at the LCMI research unit. In her PhD research, funded by the FNR-AFR scheme, she analyses how the Holocaust is taught in Luxembourg since 1945.
