Final evaluation of the European Union action programme YOUTH (2000-2006) in Luxembourg

  Description:  The YOUTH Programme (2000-2006) was the European Union's mobility and non-
 formal education programme targeting young people aged between 15 and 25 years.
 The programme was open to youth in 31 European countries. It offered to young people the
 possibilities of group exchanges and individual voluntary work, as well as support activities. To
 survey the programme-impacts on socio-educational players, organisations, local communities and last
 but not least on young people themselves, all participating countries conducted an evaluation study.
 The outcome of the report can be used to fine-tune the current YOUTH programme and also as a
 reference for preparing the future programme ("Youth in action 2007-2013") in the field of youth.
