Social responsibility as a strategic concept of prevention work

Social responsibility as a strategic concept of prevention work - Opportunities and limitations of promoting an intergenerational dialogue by networking (Illustrated in the context of a Luxembourg CePT campaign) (SORES)

Duration: from May 2009 to April 2012
Description: The research project focuses on the general questions whether and under which
conditions adults develop social responsibility for risk-taking behaviour of young people, concerning
notably the problem of rising alcohol consumption. Our analysis considers the case of an alcohol
prevention campaign in Luxembourg which aims at the implication of adults by means of network
creation and reflective learning. Special emphasis will be put on the impact of collaborative
reflection and interactive learning in social networks on creating favourable conditions for collective
knowledge on and social responsibility for the young generation.
