  Youth in transition: Help for poorly skilled young people between school and the work-place

  Description:  Youth in transition was a pilot project carried out by CESIJE for the Luxembourg
 Ministry for National Education and Vocational Training. Its goal was to identify the immediate
 problems experienced by poorly skilled and disadvantaged youth in Luxembourg in the transition
 from school to future employment. The Luxembourg situation was compared with the one in
 Switzerland and Germany. National and international experts as well as practitioners were brought
 together in workshops with the principal aim of developing innovative approaches to the transition
 problem.
