2004 – 2010:    Professor at the University of Applied Sciences Ravensburg-Weingarten, Germany. Head of the Laboratory of Mechatronics and Mobile Robotics, chairman of the international Master program “Mechatronics”, member of the Board of Governors

2000 – 2004: Systems engineer and project manager in the research and development department at Bodenseewerk Gerätetechnik GmbH, Überlingen, Germany (now: Diehl-BGT-Defence GmbH)

1996 – 2000:    Research fellow at the University of Kaiserslautern, Germany, Institute of Automatic Control, PhD degree (Dr.-Ing.) in electrical engineering

1996:   Diploma (Dipl.-Ing.) in electrical engineering and information technology, Saarland University, Saarbrücken, Germany.
