I am a PhD candidate at the Software Verification and Validation Lab under the supervision of Prof. Lionel Briand and Dr. Nadia Alshawhan.

I obtained a masters degree in Computer Science from the Karlsruher Institute of Technology (Germany) in April 2012. My master thesis with the title Assessment Tool for HTML5 Security Properties and related Web Security Threats has been done in cooperation with SAP Research. It has been chosen to be presented on SAP's internal developer conference DKOM and won the jury award. Prior to my master studies, I received a diploma degree from the University of Applied Science of Saarland (Saarbrücken) as best-in-class and worked in the private sector as a full-time web application developer for 2 years.

My research area is software engineering, with a specific interest on automated testing of application security of web applications and services.
