Dr. Gabriele Lenzini has been working in computer science research for more than ten years. His research focus is on systems security design and verification. He holds two MSc, respectively in Computer Science and in Information Technologies (Univ. of Pisa, Italy) and a PhD, in Computer Science (Univ. of Twente).

He has worked at the Univ. of Pisa and at the Italian National Council of Research (CNR), in Italy, and at the University of Twente, and at Telematica Institute (now Novay), in the Netherlands. He participated to the development and execution of numerous national and international projects, most of them with a strong industrial participation.

Since February 2010, he joined the SnT. He is member of the Applied Security and Information Assurance (APSIA) research group; he works on electronic voting security, and on location and privacy assurance. As future direction, he is interest in socio-technical security, and he is chair of one of the first workshop in this area ( www.stast.uni.lu )
