I am a Research Associate at the Software Verification and Validation Lab, led by Prof. Lionel Briand. Prior to joining SVV, I worked with Assoc. Prof. Tan Hee Beng Kuan at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore.
I obtained a first class honors degree in electrical and electronic engineering (B.Eng) from NTU in 2008, and I also received my PhD degree from NTU in 2014. I was supervised by Assoc. Prof. Tan Hee Beng Kuan and my PhD thesis was entitled “Mitigating SQL Injection and Cross Site Scripting Vulnerabilities using Program Analysis and Data Mining Techniques”.
My research area is on software security, with special focus on software vulnerability analysis using state of the art program analysis and machine learning algorithms.
