I am currently a research associate at the Software Verification and Validation Lab, at University of Luxembourg.

I defended my PhD thesis with the title "Automated testing of Simulink/Stateflow models in the automotive domain" on 31st of August, 2016 with Excellent grade. I received my M.Sc. from Sharif University of Technology in 2008 and my B.Sc. from Isfahan University of Technology in 2005, both among the most prestigious universities of Iran. 

My main research area is software engineering, with specific interests in search-based software engineering, model-based software development and testing, testing cyber-physical systems, software process improvement, and embedded software development and testing. 

During my PhD, I received two ACM distinguished paper awards at ESEC/FSE 2015 and ASE 2014 (you can find the papers in the publication page).
