Financing possibilities1. Financial aid from the State (Cedies)
This is a financial contribution by the government of Luxembourg for students in higher or university education (amended act of 22 June 2000).
Reimbursement conditions: the student must start reimbursing the loan two years after the end or discontinuation of his or her studies. From that time, the loan must be reimbursed within 10 years (or 5 years for students over 35 years of age). Attention: Interest at the rate of 2% shall be normally debited to the student by the bank twice a year.
All the students registered in a cycle of post-secondary, higher, university studies, who meet one of the following conditions:
If you receive financial aid from the CEDIES and if you go on the required mobility programme, do not forget to attach your mobility contract to the documents: your financial aid will be increased during the term of your stay abroad.
