Registration

Why register?

The library card gives the holder access to all the libraries of the University and entitles him or her to the different services provided by the BUL.

Registration is free of charge and open to all.

Every registered user has access to the online services of the common catalogue Bibnet  (consultation of loans in progress, possibility to reserve documents, extension of loans, international loans, etc.).

Students and staff members of the university also have access to the electronic documentation portail "Findit.lu" .

How to register?

  • Students and PhD students  are asked to present their student card at the registration office on the Limpertsberg campus (The student card will also become the membership card of the University library).

The registration office  is open from Monday, September 19th till Friday , October 14th, 2011 , during the week, from 9 am till 12 am and from 2 pm till 5 pm, office B.C 0.05.

Registration is valid for the duration of your studies.

During the rest of the year, the central registration office is situated at the reception desk of the Limpertsberg library.

  • Professors, researchers, administrative and technical personnel of the University can join the library of their campus by presenting an ID card. For registrations made in Kirchberg and Walferdange, the BUL membership card will be sent to them by internal mail.
  • External patrons  can also join by going to the reception desk of one of the university libraries. An ID card is required. For registrations made in Kirchberg and Walferdange, the BUL membership card will be sent by mail.
