Samuel Dal Zilio focuses his research on the history of psychiatric deinstitutionalization in Brussels after the Second World War. His doctoral project, funded by the Luxembourg National Research Fund, is part of a multidisciplinary research program entitled "Normal#Verrückt. Zeitgeschite einer erodierenden Differenz". This program aims to study the question of the erosion of the frontier between madness and normality in European societies in the second half of the 20th century.
