Exceptional procedure due to the COVID-19 health crisis

In view of the exceptional situation, the University of Luxembourg has adapted its applications process.

With the admissions service working remotely, the University has set up a paperless applications system in order to ensure a smooth continuation of the applications processing.

  1. Submitting applications by email: Applicants are invited to submit their complete application file by email to application2020@uni.lu according to the instructions described here
  2. Eligibility criteria
    The eligibility criteria for non-EU students are listed here. 
  3. Application deadlines
    The registration dates for non-EU candidates are extended: the deadline for online registration is 11 May (instead of 26 April). The deadline for submitting the file by email is 18 May (instead of 3 May).

  • UL students wishing to continue their studies or having made a study interruption 
  • Mandatory re-enrollment, even in case of a change of study programme: the enrollment deadlines are the same as concerning a new admission.

    Bachelors - Masters - Vocational Training & Lifelong Learning - Guest student: Monday to Friday from 13:30 to 16:00 (closed mornings).
  • Office of Doctoral Studies (BED): Monday to Friday from 9am to 12pm (closed afternoons)

The application procedure depends on several criteria relating to your personal situation. Application at the University of Luxembourg is personal, required (for it alone confers the status of student), and semestral (it must be renewed at the beginning of each semester).
