The next Energy Seminar of the University of Luxembourg will focus on "Flexibility for the Energy System of the Future" and will deal with integrating intermittent energy sources through advances in materials for renewable production and storage, as well as advances in information processing to enable new business models.
After an introduction by Prof. Susanne Siebentritt from the Department of Physics and Materials Science, the Professor Ferdi Schüth, Director of the Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung will present the challenges for scientists and engineers while Prof. Nils Löhndorf from the Luxembourg Centre of Logistics and Supply Chain Management will present the challenges for investors and industry.
