He received the award during the 21st International Symposium on Inventory Research which was held in Budapest in August 2022.

Organised by the Luxembourg Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LCL) and the International Society for Inventory Research (ISIR), the 15th annual ISIR Summer School took place in August 2021 on the University of Luxembourg’s Kirchberg Campus . This Summer School was the first international Covid-check event hosted by the University.

The ISIR Summer School, which is held once every two years, aims to bring together PhD students and professors with a background in inventory management to discuss and improve their research. It is an opportunity for PhD students to present their ongoing research to their peers, as well as to senior researchers.
