On 16 September 2020, LCL’s Director Prof. Benny Mantin and Outreach Communication Officer Carla Rosen-Vacher participated in the Digital Supply Chain Europe event, held in conjunction with ICT Spring at the European Convention Center in Luxembourg.

An impressive group of leading international logistics and supply chain experts from diverse industries and backgrounds spoke about the biggest challenges of the supply chain and logistics sector with a main focus on the impacts of digital and data management.

Prof. Mantin gave a presentation entitled “A Control Tower Approach to Increase Supply Chain Resilience” with Francesco Ferrero, Lead Partnership Officer – Mobility, Logistics and Smart Cities at LIST . Prof. Mantin also was part of the panel discussion “How digitalization makes supply chains more resilient to future disruptions?”. Carla Rosen-Vacher was Master of Ceremonies for the event, and also moderated the panel discussion ““Data-driven Innovation – a key enabler for more sustainable supply chains”. (Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology)

The conference, which was organised as a hybrid event with speakers and panelists attending both physically and remotely and attendees watching the live stream, was a great success with over 1000 participants.
