Sarah Van der Auweraer, 1st postdoctoral researcher of the LCL

Sarah Van der Auweraer joined the Luxembourg Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LCL) as a full-time postdoctoral researcher in October 2019. Sarah completed her MSc in Business Engineering, majoring in Production and Logistics management, at KU Leuven in 2015. In October 2019, she will defend her PhD in Applied Economics, titled “Spare part inventory management using Service Maintenance Information”, which was conducted in close cooperation with an industrial partner. Her research focuses on demand forecasting and inventory management for spare parts, with published papers in peer reviewed journals.
