1st Conference in Sustainable Finance

Conference organized by the Department of Finance at the University of Luxembourg on July 7th, 2022, in Luxembourg (in-person). The conference is hosted by the Sustainable Finance Chair, which is supported by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Environment, Climate and Sustainable Development of Luxembourg.

The Department of Finance at the University of Luxembourg is organizing an academic conference on sustainable finance on July 7th, 2022. The conference will also offer an engaging social program starting with a welcome dinner on the evening of July 6th, 2022, and a conference reception on July 7th, 2022.

TOPICS:

We welcome submissions related to any topic of sustainable finance. Complete papers in an early stage will also be considered. We ask you not to submit papers that have been accepted for publication in a journal or are close to being accepted. Examples of topic areas include, but are not limited to:

–          Measurement of climate risks

–          Environmental disclosure and financial performance

–          Gender and diversity studies

–          Systemic implications of climate risks

–          Banking and sustainability

–          Impact Investing

–          Climate risks in housing markets

–          Real effects of ESG investing

PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE:

Interested authors should submit their papers as a pdf-file by April 22nd 2022, the latest to: csf.submissions@uni.lu

Papers will be selected by the program committee consisting of members of the Department of Finance at the University of Luxembourg. Authors of accepted papers will be notified by May 6th, 2022.

EXPENSES AND PRACTICAL ARRANGEMENTS:

Travel expenses of presenters and discussants will be covered by the conference organizers.
