The Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance warmly congratulate Judge Lenaerts and Judge Bay Larsen for their election to President and Vice President, respectively, of the Court of Justice of the European Union.
Judge Lenaerts was re-elected to a second term of 3-years, while Judge Bay Larsen will serve his first term. Both Judges hold close ties with our Faculty. Over the years, Judge Lenaerts has graciously participated in several PhD examination committees alongside Department of Law professors, while Judge Bay Larsen is a long-standing guest lecturer at the FDEF whose insightful talks are highly appreciated by students and academic staff. We wish both Judge Lenaerts and Judge Bay Larsen all the best for this new endeavour.
