On September 14 at the European Convention Center Luxembourg, in Kirchberg, a new edition of the global tech conference ICT Spring was held, the first major in-person (CovidCheck) event in Luxembourg since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Organised by Farvest, this two-day event which attracted 700 participants (and thousands more online), and was composed of keynotes, roundtables, meetings and networking, allowed experts, managers, start-ups and investors to meet and discuss topical issues and future trends in various sectors: from FinTech to SpaceCybersecurity, the digitalisation of services, to the Supply Chain and the development of the start-ups’ ecosystem on an international scale.

Within the segment “Digital Supply Chain Europe” on the afternoon of the 14th , the Luxembourg Centre for Logistics & Supply Chain Management (LCL) of FDEF was broadly showcased thanks to the hosting by Carla Rosen-Vacher, Outreach Communication Officer (Master of Ceremonies), as well as LCL Director, Prof. Benny Mantin's participation in a panel discussion on supply chains in e-commerce, as well as a presentation by Prof. Nils Löhndorf, new Digital Procurement Chair. In addition, industry partners of the LCL such as Urbify and CEO Ben Stolze linked their start-up success in part to the collaboration in last-mile delivery logistics with faculty of the LCL.

The involvement of the LCL in this event also highlighted the close and strong partnership of the Centre and FDEF with the Ministry of the Economy and the Supply Chain 4.0 Directorate led by Daniel Liebermann, the main sponsor of the event.
