Dr. Andreas Irmen, Professor of Macroeconomics and applied Microeconomics, has edited the latest issue of Economics and Business Review.
In addition to editing the volume, Prof. Irmen also published a paper entitled “Endogenous Task-based Technical Change – Factor Scarcity and Factor Prices”. The paper develops a static model of endogenous task-based technical progress to study how factor scarcity induces technological progress and changes in factor prices. This model may serve as a microfoundation for canonical macro-economic models and accommodates features like endogenous factor supplies and a binding minimum wage.
Prof. Irmen’s editorial and article, which appeared in Volume 6 (20) Number 2 of the journal, is accessible online and can be found here.
The Economics and Business Review is a quarterly journal focusing on theoretical, empirical and applied research in the fields of Economics and Corporate and Public Finance and published by Poznań University of Economics Press.
