Abstract
Space launch is a critical activity for any space operator, and operators need to understand how legal frameworks affect their choice of launch providers. This inaugural lecture in the Launch Law Lecture Series will address the international dimension of European Spaceport of French Guiana. It will discuss the intergovernmental treaties, laws and regulations that governs and coordinates the various activities on this site such as new launch pad and facilities development, satellite payload preparation, integration and operations of launchers coming from different countries France (Ariane), Italy (Vega) and Russia (Soyuz).
