University ranked among the world’s first 100 universities in Law

Improved rankings also in Social Sciences and Education.

Times Higher Education (THE) has ranked the University of Luxembourg number 92 in Law among 257 universities worldwide in its latest ranking by subject 2022 published on 13 October. It is the first time that the University is listed in this subject category, and it is one of three newcomers among the top 100 in Law.

THE also ranked the University among the 176-200 first universities worldwide in Social sciences (up from 201-250 in the prior year edition). This category highlights the universities that are leading across the disciplines of communication and media studies, politics and international studies (including development studies), sociology and geography. This year’s table includes 870 universities, up from 791 last year.

For the subject Education, THE also ranked the University in the category of the 176-200 first universities worldwide (up from 201-250). This category focuses on education, teacher training, and academic studies in education. This year’s ranking includes 597 universities, up from 537 last year.

In the field of Business and Economics, the University was ranked 251-300, compared to 201-250 a year earlier. This ranking assesses universities by their performance in the disciplines of business and management, accounting and finance, and economics and econometrics. This year’s table includes 795 universities, up from 729 last year.
