The Master in Geography and Spatial Planning alumni were invited to meet up with current students to share their experiences and discuss their careers.

For the 2nd event of the Faculty’s alumni event series on 17 June 2022, study programme director Dr Catherine Jones welcomed five former students back to Campus:

  • Philipp Henger, coordinator, GIE Observatoire national des PME
  • Marcela Mäder Furtado, junior analyst at Spatial Foresight
  • Kevin Schutz, geographer at Ministry of Home Affairs at the Direction de l'Aménagement communal et du Développement urbain
  • Dr. Francois Sprumont, advisor in the European RDI team at Luxinnovation
  • Joanne Wirtz, mobility and transport advisor at LuxMobility

The meet up was the perfect opportunity for the five alumni to discuss their career choices, share their most memorable experiences as a Master’s student and give advice on how to land a job after graduation. All the participants agreed that this kind of exchange provided exceptional opportunities for personal and professional development.
