Invitation

Open MIS-Understandings is a debate series of the FHSE Key Research Area MIS to promote interdisciplinary exchange on central concepts of migration research.

The third Open MIS-Understandings session is dedicated to the notion of difference. Although of crucial importance for cultural and social studies, the concept of difference and its divers and shifting understandings in various scholarly fields are rarely systematically discussed. A conceptual reflection seems particularly important with regard to migration related research and public.
