Sonia Schifano is a PhD student in Economics at the University of Luxembourg. She holds a Master in Economics and Social Sciences from the Bocconi University. Before joining the University of Luxembourg, she worked as research assistant at Bocconi University and she worked as trainee at the Directorate General for Competition at the European Commission.

Her interests revolves around wealth inequality and social mobility in the long-run. Her recent interest is on the effect that specific assets have on social mobility.
