The impact of civil engineers on Luxembourg’s job market and economy is important. One important role of the University will be to respond to the specific needs of Luxembourg’s job market by training qualified engineers and by aligning the offer in education to today’s as well as future industrial needs.
- A collaborative relationship between the University and industrial partners has been built up and will be further developed in the future
- A collaborative relationship between the university and numerous government institutions and administrations has been built up and will be further developed in the future
- Research activities are already used to support teaching activities by bringing research into classroom and by involving undergraduates in research projects.
Currently, several tracks in civil engineering are offered:
- Three tracks of the Bachelor Professional: “Genie Civil Construction”, “Genie Civil Urbanisme et Aménagement du Territoire” and “Europäisches Baumanagement”
- The civil engineering track of the Bachelor of Science and Engineering
- The Master of Science in Civil Engineering
