Maison du Savoir

The Maison du Savoir is the central building of the University of Luxembourg. The central administration and the President's office are located in the tower.

On the 3rd and 4th floor of the Maison du Savoir you find different sized seminar rooms and lecture halls where the majority of the courses takes place. Some courses can be taught on the 1st floor of the Maison des Sciences Humaines.

The offices of the Bachelor study administration are located in the Maison du Savoir:

• 1st floor: administration of the Bachelor en Sciences de l’Education and mobility office of the Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences (FHSE)
• 6th floor: administration of the Bachelor en Cultures Européennes, Bachelor en Psychologie et Bachelor en Sciences Sociales et Educatives

The student service SEVE has its offices on the 5th floor.

Maison des Sciences Humaines

The Maison des Sciences Humaines is home to the Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences:

• the faculty administration (Dean's office) and the administration of the Master and Lifelong Learning programmes of the Faculty.
• the lab facilities
• the research unit Identités, Politiques, Sociétés, Espaces (IPSE)
• the research unit Education, Culture, Cognition and Society (ECCS)
• the Luxembourg Centre for Educational Testing (LUCET)
• the research unit Integrative Research Unit on Social and Individual Development (INSIDE)

The Luxembourg Income Study (LIS) and the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER) are also located in the Maison des Sciences Humaines.

University restaurant

The university restaurant is a small cube-shaped building right next to the Maison du Savoir offering 160 seats on the ground floor, 80 seats on the terrace, 60 seats on the 1st floor and another 20 seats as private space.

University Library – Luxembourg Learning Center (LLC)

The Luxembourg Learning Center (LLC), opened in September 2018, unites the former campus libraries in one place in the heart of the “Cite des sciences”.

In addition to the extensive holdings of printed and electronic media the LLC offers a variety of services to enable individual and collaborative work in an appealing and comfortable atmosphere.

The LLC collections can be searched on the website www.a-z.lu.
