Science Festival 2019: mathematics in the spotlight

Mathematicians from the University of Luxembourg participated actively in the Science Festival which took place from 7 to 10 November 2019 at Neimënster to present mathematics in a funny and interactive way. Visitors had the opportunity to discover the fascinating world of fractals, play mathematics in black and white and explore the dynamic interaction between fox and rabbit. Thanks for your visit!

The three worskhops "The fascinating world of fractals", "Mathematics in Black and White" and "Fox and rabbit in balance" were initiated by researchers Antonella Perruca, Hugo Parlier, Bruno Teheux and Thierry Meyrath from the Mathematics Research Unit (RMATH) at the University of Luxembourg.
