Arianna Rossi is a Research Scientist at SnT where she is a member of the Interdisciplinary Research group in Socio-Technical Security (IRiSC), headed by Prof. Gabriele Lenzini. She carries out research projects at the intersection of law, computer science, design and digital ethics. She currently works on the FNR-funded project "Deceptive Patterns Online" (DECEPTICON) and the EU-funded project ITN "Legally-Attentive Data Scientists" (LeADS). Arianna has an interdisciplinary background, with a joint international Doctoral Degree in Law, Science and Technology (University of Bologna) and a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science (University of Luxembourg). She holds a M.Sc. in Linguistics with a focus on Natural Language Processing.
Arianna has been an invited speaker at international conferences in EU and US and routinely gives seminars to academic scholars and practitioners on topics like privacy by design and online manipulation. She also organizes events to promote legal innovation and open access to legal and technical hands-on knowledge.
