
Diplôme d’Etudes Spécialisées en Oncologie Médicale
The Diplôme d'Etudes Spécialisées en Oncologie Médicale (DES-ONCO) at the University of Luxembourg is a specialised professional qualification aimed at authorising the practice of oncology. It is a full-time programme that requires at least five years. You have the option of spending up to one year in a research environment outside of clinical training or spreading your research time over the course of your clinical training for a total of 2 semesters.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma: the applicant must have a basic medical qualification obtained in a Member State of the European Union or the European Economic Area or the Swiss Confederation referred to in Annex 5.1.1. of Directive 2005/36/EC or a basic medical qualification obtained in a third country recognised in accordance with the provisions of the Act of 28 October 2016 on the recognition of professional qualifications, meeting, in particular, the criteria laid down in Article 24 of this Act
- Nationality: the candidate must be a national of a Member State of the European Union or of the European Economic Area or of the Swiss Confederation or a national of a third country holding a valid residence permit issued by the Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs
- Language skills: B2 in French and German
REGISTRATION (5 PLACES maximum)
- EU Students: 1 February to 18 June 2023
- Non-EU Students: 1 February to 30 April 2023
All eligible applicants are subject to a ranking review which includes:
• An oral interview on communication and transversal skills
An introduction and information day will be organised in September 2022 at the Limpertsberg campus of the University. The presence of all-new admitted candidates after the selections is required.
