Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Cybersecurity

The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in cybersecurity (CYBERUS) at the University of Luxembourg is a highly integrated two-year full-time Master programme. 

PRESENTATION Degree: Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in cybersecurity Duration: 2 years full-time programme / 4 semesters (120 ECTS) Languages: English

It offers 2 specialisation tracks leading to double master’s degrees:

• IoT Cybersecurity (between Université Bretagne Sud and Université Libre de Bruxelles): security of digital objects/equipment, of their design and of their connections
• Software Cybersecurity (between Université de Bretagne and University of Luxembourg): security of applications, systems and programming

PARTNERS

The first two semesters of the degree programme take place at the Université de Bretagne Sud, the third at the University of Luxembourg or at Université Libre de Bruxelles depending on the specialisation. During the fourth semester, students participate in an internship in the field of cybersecurity.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

• As a CYBERUS graduate, you who will be able to hold diverse positions depending on your chosen specialisation track and your final internship such as: cybersecurity engineer, cybersecurity analyst/assessor, security architect, security product integrator, penetration tester, software developer/engineer, cryptographer, malware analyst, application security expert
• After a few years’ experience, you will be able to assume managerial, consultancy or research roles: chief information security officer (CISO), cybersecurity consultant, cybersecurity manager/administrator, researcher, university professor. The skills students acquire will enable them to work in a wide array of domains such as telecommunications between objects, banking transactions and encryption of information, insurance operations and insurance contracts for cyber risks, energy provision, medical devices, transport, and safe Internet browsing

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor and 3 years of experience or Master in a related field
• Language: level B2 in English
