Petite Maison is a curating and performance act of construction, operation, and deconstruction, taking place within the timeframe of Esch2022. The University of Luxembourg under the lead of the architect & guest-professor Carole Schmit together with the research & development specialist Dragos Ghioca from the Master in architecture (FHESS), contributes to the event ESCH2022 with a small house, by curating a collaborative design process on circularity. In cooperation with Prof. Christoph Odenbreit (FSTM), the support of frEsch.asbl and LIST, the house is coproduced thanks to the contribution in kind of a great number of professional partners in Luxembourg and the greater region. Petite Maison, a continuous performance open to the public at 1:1 scale, stretches over 9 months and is divided in three moments : construction, use and deconstruction. Each construction element is linked to a virtual database and remains available for reuse after 2022. If you are willing to assist the construction phase of Petite Maison you are welcome to join us for a guided visit by booking a spot during the construction-site visits. BOOK HERE! When?
