Outreach

The Algebra and Number Theory group is involved in various outreach activities. Among others:

We also participate in activities directed towards training mathematics teachers (IFEN formations continues).

We develop mathematical exhibits and various material.

Occasionally we organise events directed to the general public, for example the mathematical exhibition Mathematik zum Anfassen.

We contribute to the training of high-school students for mathematical competitions.

We take care about gender equality issues, for example with the research network WiNBx and while organizing mathematical events. We are also sensible to the inclusion of minorities of any kind, and of people with special needs.
