Mahdi Azari received his PhD degree from KU Leuven (Belgium), in 2019. Before joining SnT, he was a postdoc researcher in CTTC (Spain). His research interests include communication theory and applications of machine learning in wireless systems. In particular, he is interested in 3D cellular networking, UAV communications, and the Internet of Things (IoT). Mahdi joined the Signal Processing and Communications research group, SIGCOM, headed by Prof. Symeon Chatzinotas and Prof. Björn Ottersten.
